Five years empty. Rented in two months.
A real estate website built from zero: the 3D, the film, the prices, the search. Then the empty spaces filled up.
- 5 / 6business spaces rented within two months of launch, after sitting empty for over five years
- ~30%more apartment sales since launch, by the company's own estimate
- 23xlighter first load: 16.6 MB down to 0.7 MB, with the 3D film still there
The story
Drampek rents out business space and sells apartments in a tower that won't be finished until around 2029. Six of their business spaces had been sitting empty for more than five years.
Their old website never mentioned the rentals. And like every competitor in town, it answered the first thing buyers ask, "how much?", with "contact us".
So we built a new one from scratch. Within two months of launch, five of the six empty spaces were rented.
What we did
- 01
Built the building before it exists
3D models of the tower and the apartments, rendered into a scroll film: a camera flight through a finished home.
- 02
Put the prices on the page
Every unit shows its real price, size, floor and status, all from one data file, so the site can't contradict itself.
- 03
A 21-floor tower made of CSS
The apartments page has a stacking plan built in pure CSS 3D, with floors that spread apart under the cursor.
- 04
Floor plans from the architect's drawings
Unit outlines are traced by a script from the architect's own drawings, so they match.
- 05
16.6 MB down to 0.7 MB
The film waits until you scroll, critical CSS is in the page, fonts are self-hosted and scripts are deferred.
